πŸ—’οΈ Page Layouts -

Every page listed here is hyperlinked to an image, with numbers labelling every bit of each page. The numbers listed in each section for their related page are referring to the labelled numbers in the image!

πŸ—ΊοΈ Map Page -


Number Label What It's Labelling What It's For
1 Map Name Put in the name of your map - this is for file name, which will only be seen in your game files. You cannot use any special characters or spaces.
2 Map Display Name Put in the Display name for your map - this will be seen above the gates in Cape, and any custom portals in other maps. Special characters and spaces are able to be used.
3 Save Save your map. This only saves your progress in the maker.
4 Export Export your map. All exported map files will be exported to your exports folder.
5 Show Collisions Toggle Toggle the ability to see collision boxes in test mode. Collision boxes would look like this (light blue in the image, but would be bright yellow by default) in test mode.
6 Test Enter test mode. You will be able to explore your map with a test character.
7 Has Portal Toggle Toggles having the Cape of Distant Worlds portal in your map. Disabling this also hides your portal from Cape.
8 Destination Positon Coordinates Set the position of the Cape of Distant Worlds portal in your map.
9 Arrival Yaw Set the direction your character and camera faces when entering into your map.
10 No Flying Toggle Toggle the ability for players to fly in your map.
11 Music Input Field Input the Music group name from your music.cfg or file name from your music folder to put custom music into your map.
12 Map List Lists all of the maps you have saved in your terrains folder.


🌎 World Page -


Number Label What It's Labelling What It's For
1 Terrain Height Map Put in the direct file name to your Height Map.
2 Terrain Alpha Map Put in the direct file name to your Terrain Mask.
3 Terrain Texture List List of textures to display on your terrain.
4 Terrain Texture Page Select the next and previous pages to set a terrain texture to different part of the terrain mask.
5 Map Width Set the width of your map.
6 Map Height Set the height of your map.
7 Map Boundary Set the overall boundary of your map.
8 Sky Toggle Toggle whether or not the sky is visible in your map.
9 Sky File Field Input a custom sky file name.
10 Weather Cycle File Field Input a custom weather cycle file name.
11 Ocean Toggle Toggle whether or not there's an ocean in your map.
12 Ocean Height Set the height of the ocean water in your map.
13 Ocean Material Set a material to the ocean.

4 and 6 got messed up, so they're combined into 4 in the chart!

1 List of Object Groups List of your installed object groups to select from.
2 List of Objects within Selected Group List of objects in the selected object group.
3 New Object Creates the selected object in the map.
4 Gate Destination Insert the file name to a map you're wanting to connect.
5 New Gate Add a new gate to your map.
6 Destination Position Coordinates Set the destination coordinates in the connected map.
7 Arrival Yaw Set the direction your character and camera faces when entering into your connected map.
8 Black Material Toggle Toggle whether or not the gate displays as gold or a black hole.
9 New Water Add a new water plane to your map.
10 Water Material Set a water texture to your water plane.

1 Select Object Type Put in the direct file name to your Height Map.
2 Is Large Toggle Put in the direct file name to your Terrain Mask.
3 Move List of textures to display on your terrain.
4 Clone Select the next and previous pages to set a terrain texture to different part of the terrain mask.
5 Place on Mesh Toggle Toggles the ability to set an object on another one with set collision.
6 Randomize Clone Toggle Toggles the ability to randomize a cloned meshes scale and yaw.
Position (Unlabelled) x, y, z Set the position of your mesh with x, y and z coordinates.
Scale (Unlabelled) x, y, z Set the size of your mesh with x, y and z scale values.
Unlabelled Button -> Update Update the mesh after making changes.
Unlabelled Button -> Hide Hide the selected mesh.
Unlabelled Button -> Delete Delete the selected mesh.
Unlabelled Button -> Show All Show all hidden meshes.
Unlabelled Arrows -> Pitch Set the pitch of the selected mesh.
Unlabelled Arrows -> Yaw Set the yaw of the selected mesh.
Unlabelled Arrows -> Roll Set the roll of the selected mesh.
